Each scale catches light differently, giving the piece a subtle movement and texture that invites touch. The alder’s warm, honey-toned grain balances the boldness of the carved surface, creating a harmony between organic simplicity and intricate craftsmanship. Finished in natural oil and wax to highlight both tone and texture.
